The client returned after nearly ten years, giving us the opportunity to rethink both the design and the technology behind the website while building on an established relationship. The original website had supported the business well for almost a decade, but over time it became slower, harder to maintain, and increasingly difficult to update with confidence. The design no longer reflected the quality of the services being offered, and routine WordPress maintenance had become another task to manage.
Rather than assuming WordPress was the only option, we discussed rebuilding the site using both WordPress and Kirby. After reviewing the client’s publishing workflow, maintenance concerns, and long-term goals, Kirby proved to be the better fit. The business didn’t need a large plugin ecosystem—it needed a dependable, low-maintenance website that would remain easy to manage for years to come.
Existing articles were carefully migrated while the rest of the website was restructured around a new content architecture and visual design.
